Winter: A Short Story Competition for the children of Southwark, 2017

To celebrate this year’s Dulwich Literary Festival (10-12 November) students of schools affiliated to the Southwark Schools’ Learning Partnership (SSLP) and the Southwark Teaching Schools Alliance (STSA) are invited to submit short stories for a competition to be judged by prize-winning author Ali Smith.

The competition is open to pupils from years three to thirteen (inclusive) and will be judged in three age divisions:
Years 3 to 6 (age 7 to 11)
Years 7 to 11 (age 11 to 16)
Years 12 and 13 (age 16 to 18)

Submissions must be no longer than 500 words

All competition entrants are invited to attend the Prize Ceremony at Dulwich College at 5pm on 10th November 2017 and to meet Ali Smith.

The winners and runners-up will be invited to join Ali for a buffet supper at Dulwich College.

Submissions must be received no later than 5.30pm on Friday 27th October.
