Alleyn’s School, 3:50-5pm

Sam Parkin, Mathematics Teachers at Alleyn’s School is running a series of sessions next half term to develop problem solving skills for students who are currently in Year 12 and are planning to sit a university admission test in mathematics (TMUA/MAT/STEP). The course will look at questions from each of these exams and aim to develop skills in Curve Sketching, Proof, Quadratics and Cubics and Trigonometry.

The course will be held at Alleyn’s School from 3.50-5.00pm for five weeks:

Monday 25th February,
Monday 4th March,
Monday 11th March,
Monday 18th March,
Monday 25th March.

Places are limited with only EIGHT available. Initial priority will be given to state schools and may be limited to a maximum of two students per school. The course will only be relevant for students who are very engaged with the subject and have a high level of competency on the A Level material. In particular those students that will apply to study maths at Oxbridge.
