Oxford University’s Modern Languages Open Days are now open for booking.

If you are a Year 12 student interested in applying for languages at Oxford, you are encouraged to attend an open day. The individual language open days offer a stimulating insight into what it’s like to study languages at Oxford, with taster lectures and information about the course.

The big open day in May takes a more holistic approach, covering topics from literature to linguistics, as well as sessions for each language in the afternoon.

  • German open day, Saturday 23 February, Taylor Institution and Worcester College
  • Spanish & Portuguese open day, Thursday 28 February, Queen’s College
  • Russian and other Slavonic Languages open day, Saturday 2 March, Wadham College
  • Italian open day, Saturday 9 March, Taylor Institution Main
  • Modern Languages open day, Saturday 4 May, Exam Schools.
