A new video about the Southwark Schools’ Learning Partnership.

Thank you to Dulwich College for the production of this video and to St Saviour’s & St Olave’s School, St Thomas Apostle College and Westminster City School for participating.

This video was recorded prior to Covid restrictions in 2020.

Entrants were encouraged to get up close to everyday objects to give them a new look. The winners and runners-up have now been announced.

“Such brilliant photos. They have all interpreted the brief in their own way, creating some highly individual outcomes! It was very hard to choose but I have selected my winners and runners up.”

Our Judge for the month: Ben Eggleton, Artist, Photographer and Teacher at JAGS

We had a brilliant Thinking About… Engineering Research webinar on Tuesday, with no less than six schools represented by the extremely capable hosts. A big thank you has to go to Amjad from Dulwich College who arranged the speaker, Dr Adele Nasti (who joined from Germany), and guided us through a conversation about her work. Alexandra, Bo and Zachie each then asked her a question before Gabriel and Laura hosted the Q&A session.

CONNECTING SCHOOLS

Our Anti-Racism Project has continued this term with students collaborating to make short films that will be used to start conversations with Year 8 classes. We have four clusters of schools that are meeting weekly, so you might spot the filming as it takes place between now and the end of term. We are looking forward to sharing them with you next term.
This project has been funded by a partnership grant from the Department for Education.
