Despite the ongoing national lockdown the SSLP is thriving in the virtual world of partnerships. This week eight of our students joined David Lammy MP to ask him questions about his latest book, Tribes, and his thoughts on identity, racial inequality and belonging. This was the latest webinar in our Thinking About series and it attracted 165 viewers! If you would like to view the recording please contact admin@sslp.education
We also had the pleasure of announcing the winners of December’s Photography Competition – Still Life. You can see all the entries on Flickr.

Our Judge for the month was Chantal Gilou, Artist and Art Teacher at JAGS.

Thank you for inviting me to select this December’s Photography winners. The category of ‘Still Life’ is a hard, but good theme I believe! The entries ranged from contemporary takes on the quintessential still life object; fruit, plants, ceramic pots, jars; to the more subtle descriptions of space and changing light sources. It was an absolute joy to see all the entries. Very well done to all that entered. A special congratulations to the winners and runners up.

Best wishes.
Chantal
