Congratulations to Cross Polarization who won the Sixth Form Science Quiz with 38 points on Thursday 10th March, retaining the trophy for Dulwich College. Nineteen teams took part, representing seven schools from the SSLP and other partnerships of the host school, Alleyn’s.
It was a described as a lovely, happy event by those present.

Over 500 students came to St Saviour’s & St Olave’s on Thursday 3rd March to take part in the first public performance of Fred and the Fantastic Tub-Tub with Orpheus Sinfonia. The Year 7 students were introduced to the instruments before practicing some rhythms in their school groups. All the pieces were put together in the afternoon for a performance of Zeb Soanes story which has central themes of environmental awareness, plastic reduction and diversity.

Celebrating the Arts
Congratulations to the winners and runners-up of January’s photography competition Interesting Perspectives they were announced this week as Elle and Maryam (students), and Mark and Helen (Staff). See their images on the SSLP website.

500 students took part in yesterday’s Fred and Fantastic Tub-Tub musical collaboration. We hope to have more details and pictures next week.

This academic year Aspiring Senior Leaders from SSLP schools have the opportunity to join four personal development workshops. This week,
thirty seven of our teachers came together virtually to hear Jessica McQuaid, Headteacher at Leytonstone School, speak about The Behaviours of A Senior Leader.
An excellent session that provided real insight into the role of a Headteacher and what is required when applying for SLT roles.”

The SSLP has offered opportunities to partner schools for five weeks so far this year. In this period there have been one photography competition, two meetings, two teacher training sessions, three student voice projects, four Thinking About webinars, Fourteen Debating workshops and four open opportunities.
