The SSLP Careers Hub is a group formed of staff from across the SSLP Schools who all have responsibility for supporting students with their 16+ decisions.
The group meet virtually once a year, but communicate more frequently as required. The strength of this group comes from often isolated staff members being able to share contacts and resources. Members of the group have teamed-up to conduct Career Interviews for all Year 11 students in a timely manner, and have shared opportunities for student networking.
This group delivers termly careers webinars for key stage 3 students called So You Want To Be…, shares opportunities for higher education and careers fairs and works together to ensure all Oxbridge students get quality support for their applications.
