2020 Street Photography

The SSLP Street Photography competition is now in Season 3 Month 5!

Budding photographers were invited to submit one photograph a month on a set theme to be in with a chance of winning the Staff, Student or Junior categories. All entries are being displayed on Flickr. The themes are:

  • Silhouette
  • Entrances & Exits
  • Structure
  • Anything with Wheels
  • Bright Colour

Stuart Horne Bursary

The SSLP is delighted to announce that TWO Stuart Horne Bursaries have been made available to our students in 2020.

The lucky students will take part in either a 17-Day or a 21-Day leadership training course in the wilds of Canada, in partnership with Outward Bound Canada.

2020 Take A Seat

This was an exciting opportunity for students to learn about furniture design from Tom Faulkner. It ran from 7th October to 11th February. Students were given guidance and visited Tom Faulkner’s studios and workshops. They then entered their own design in a competition where the winner, Anne-Elizabeth, had their piece made by Tom.

2017 Short Story Competition

Winter: A Short Story Competition for the children of Southwark, 2017

To celebrate the 2017 Dulwich Literary Festival (10-12 November) students of schools affiliated to the Southwark Schools’ Learning Partnership (SSLP) and the Southwark Teaching Schools Alliance (STSA) were invited to submit short stories for a competition judged by prize-winning author Ali Smith. The overall winner was Charlie, with Climate Control.
