All entries will now be sent to our guest judge anonymously and we will announce the winners and runners-up as soon as possible.

Motion and Distortion

This is the third round of the SSLP Photography Competition 2023, this month we are looking for pictures that capture motion or show how camera angles can cause distortion. Your images should capture the sense of movement, activity and noise.

Use your imagination, camera settings and, if you wish, editing software to create an image that captures more than just one moment in time.

Our guest judge this month is British Photographer and Director, Mel Bles.

Deadline for entries Friday 31st March

Congratulations to all the winners and runners-up in Round 1 The Extraordinary Ordinary which has been judged by Lillie Eiger.

The winning student is Rahul from Kingsdale Foundation School, with runner-up Fathia from The Charter School North Dulwich.

The winning member of staff was J Rogers from The Charter School East Dulwich, with runner-up A Sayedi from Compass School Southwark.

…Natural Worlds

This is the second round of the SSLP Photography Competition 2023, this month we are looking for pictures of nature, particularly those that make you see a whole new world or even worlds. You might make use of macro settings or take a view from afar, or you might be able to capture a world that’s ordinarily out of sight.

Use your imagination to show us an inspirational Natural World.

Our guest judge this month is Alice Cazenave from The Sustainable Darkroom.
