Congratulations to the team from JAGS who are taking home the winners’ trophy from this year’s SSLP Sixth Form Science Quiz. We are grateful to Alleyn’s School for organising this event, coming up with such an incredible array of challenging questions and for opening the invitation to other schools that they work in partnership with. Teams from Alleyn’s, Charter East, JAGS, Dulwich College, St Joseph’s and Trinity took part.

Also on Tuesday, the SSLP was hosted by JAGS for the Write on Art workshop. Six schools were present to hear from the Paul Mellon Centre and the Dulwich Picture Gallery, and then to participate in a workshop to encourage participation in the Write on Art competition hosted by ArtUK.
This beautiful picture was taken by Florence, a student at James Allen’s Girls’ School, in response to the theme Natural Worlds. Guest judge, Alice Cazenave has named it as the winning student image in last month’s SSLP Photography competition. You can see all the winning images and read the judges comments in our special newsletter. Why not enter your own picture this month in response to the theme Motion and Distortion?
Congratulations to all of last month’s winners; Florence, JAGS; Tess, Kingsdale Foundation School; A Sayedi, Compass School and J Spence, Dulwich College.
